Traveling hundreds if not thousands of miles, waking up long before dawn, packing 60 plus pounds on my back for days on end, freezing my a – - off while waiting for the perfect morning light. And for what? To create compelling photographs of places only few have ever seen!
My photographic style comes from my passion for being in the back country. I continually ache for that next road trip or adventure that will take me off the beaten path to places the masses will never see. Because of my excitement for these fantastic landscapes, I make photographs that communicate to the viewer that no matter the many challenges our world faces, it’s still an amazingly beautiful and majestic place.
